White Sage incense
White sage incense Styx- sown grown and loved by my whole family. Our White Sage grows beautifully on our Herb Farm- feeding bees and butterflies and so so many hummingbirds!
This Stand of Sage is so special to me- a neighbor started a burn pile and wind carried a so dear to our field- it wiped out everything I had planted. 3 days later I was devastated walking g out in the blackened field I saw the first, then the next and then the whole row! Tiny tiny silver green leaves popping up through all this incredible biochar! It was emotional to say the least!
I know that’s how Sage does it in the wild and I know that planned burns are wonderful for land management but in my grief mindset over the loss/ none of this came to mind and when it all came back to me my heart was beyond full of gratitude- not to mention that our sage field cleansed at least 3 counties with its smoke!
6 Styx

Our Approach to White Sage
White sage is a remarkable native plant with deep cultural and ceremonial significance to many Indigenous peoples of the American Southwest.
At Luna d'Terra, we honor and respect those traditions while recognizing that they are not our own. We do not teach or represent Indigenous ceremonial practices, nor do we claim a connection to beliefs or lineages that are not ours.
Our relationship with white sage is rooted in stewardship, cultivation, and appreciation for the plant itself.
We believe native plants deserve to be protected, thoughtfully cultivated, and understood for their ecological importance, aromatic beauty, and long history of human relationship. We grow our own white sage with care and encourage the cultivation of this remarkable plant as a way to help reduce pressure on wild populations while fostering a deeper appreciation for its place in the landscape.
If you've ever dreamed of growing white sage yourself, we invite you to do just that. Visit our shop to see if white sage seeds are currently available, and join us in helping this beautiful native plant thrive in gardens where it can be cared for, appreciated, and passed on for generations to come.
Our hope is simple: that each plant is met with gratitude, each harvest with respect, and each offering with honesty.
We believe the most beautiful things are grown in their own time, gathered with gratitude, and made by hand.
